Buwan ng wika: playing the Philippine native games

Every year we are celebrating “Buwan ng Wika” and part of the celebration is the experience of playing together our Native Games. The children enjoyed very much because nowadays these games are seldom played by today’s kids.
They played eating relay, modified sack race, egg catching, kadang-kadang, tug of war, and group tying. They cheered each other’s team and excitedly performed the different games planned by the teachers for them. This experience taught them how to accept a defeat and how it feels to win. Their unity and cooperation always matter in everything they do. To achieve the goal, they must have self-discipline and determination. Go Kids. Bring home the bacon!
